In 2015, octopusgarden was established as a showcase for digital illustrations and animation works. Today, Octopusgarden focuses on the intersection between digital and analog processes.
About artist
Alessio Marcone, born in Giulianova (TE) in 1995, is a multidisciplinary contemporary artist from Turin.
After studying Fine Arts at the Albertina Academy and Design at Polytechnic University of Turin, he began to explore digital techniques and experimental printing methods. His works revolve around generative art and material abstraction, where there is a strong intersection between digital and analog processes.
He is among the winners of Graphic Days’ Neologia 2023, where he received the Print Club Award.
